The N17 Plaza in Tuam was constructed between August 2021 – March 2022 and was designed in a contemporary style, which sits nicely within the context on the main road through Tuam. Centrally located at the end of the M17 motorway, this monopitched roof stands out and welcomes you in. It is the main stopping point for motorists travelling along the Western Corridor, between Galway and Mayo.
The N17 Plaza was designed and coordinated by Corbwell Design and was constructed within an 8 month timeframe during the COVID19 period. It consists of a convenience shop, food court, fuel facilities and also features Tuam’s first drive thru facility. The N17 Plaza, with it’s curved petrol court roof and its spacious, modern eye-catching design shows that a building like this works well as a main focus point at a central location along the old N17 road.
